CRAVE NW AT SPOKANE VALLEY, the Inland Northwest’s premier food and drink celebration, will be held June 15-18 at CenterPlace Regional Event Center, a state-of-the-art 54,000 square foot event facility at Mirabeau Meadows Park in Spokane Valley, Washington.  Presented by the City of Spokane Valley, CRAVE NW is a unique culinary event that will showcase the creative talents of visionary chefs from around the Northwest.  From fresh seafood and ranch-raised meats to farm-to-table produce and inventive desserts, a wide variety of local, regional and international flavors will be featured.  Culinary highlights include a Grand Tasting Tent, Global Street Foods Carnivale, Seafood Bash, Fire & Smoke Fare, and Father’s Day Brunch.  In addition to artisan food samplings, CRAVE NW will offer wine, craft beer and specialty cocktail tastings, with an emphasis on Northwest producers and ingredients.  A distinguished group of award-winning brewmasters, coffee roasters, winemakers, distillers and mixologists will present a bountiful array of liquid refreshments.  Innovative social and educational experiences will also be offered, providing attendees an opportunity to interact directly with chefs and exhibitors, including seminars, hands-on classes, wine pairings, cocktail tours, and chef-hosted parties.

The culinary and creative force behind CRAVE NW is Spokane chef and restauranteur Adam Hegsted.  Chef-owner of The Wandering Table, The Gilded Unicorn, Yards Bruncheon and Eat Good Café in Spokane, Hegsted was a recent Northwest region semifinalist for the prestigious 2016 James Beard Best Chef Award.  “This has been a dream of mine for some time, and now is the time to do it,” states Hegsted. “We have some great things going on right now in our region, and CRAVE NW will help us get to the next level.”  Hegsted’s partner for the event is Vision Marketing, a marketing services company with significant experience in trade and consumer show production and management.  “We’re delighted to partner with Adam to produce CRAVE NW,” notes Tom Stebbins, who co- owns Vision Marketing with his wife, Karen.  “Our goal is to create truly an extraordinary event that is the best of its kind in the Inland Northwest.”

A complete listing of CRAVE NW’s participating chefs, vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors will be announced in April.
