If you’re on the bike trail along the coast, you can stop for a hamburger, a freshly-cooked hotdog, and some ice cream without it breaking the bank. The Calafia may not be posh, but it does simple food well, and you can enjoy watching the surfers while you eat.
San Clemente has a beautiful beach that is worth visiting all year round. While you are there, pay a visit to one of the beach-side restaurants and sample some tasty local cuisine.
