June is Pride Month and Portland has a variety of events to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community.
Did you know Pride has been celebrated in Portland since the early 1970s? As the city has a long history of acceptance and inclusion and is honored throughout the year with many gay-friendly and focused events.
Pride at the Museum
June 10, Friday | 6:00 - 10:00 PM
Oregon Museum of Science and Industry
OMSI's Pride at the Museum welcomes visitors of all ages for a night of Pride-inspired science demos, lectures, Drag performances, music, and complimentary admission to the featured exhibit, The World of da Vinci.
This event is family-friendly and inclusive of any allies interested in attending. Masks are optional, and no negative COVID test or vaccine is required.
Tickets include access to the featured exhibit, all the activities listed below, and parking.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for kids 3-13 and include access to the featured exhibit, activities, and parking.
The following featured exhibit has limited time:
- Exploring their newest, The World of da Vinci, will close at 9:15 PM
- Explore Teen Tech Center for (teens - 13 to 18 years of age) and the Science Playground that will be close at 8 PM
- Learning Native Knowledge through Roots of Wisdom;
- Exploring Turbine Hall and Natural Science Hall.
Don't forget! Food and Beverages will be available on the Front Plaza Food Carts, which are still to be determined, and Elephants Deli food at the Empirical Cafe.

Pre-Pride Party Drag Show

WClub - Portland Pride Brunch

Meet WClub friends at Mother's for brunch, then we will walk three blocks to the waterfront and Portland Pride Festival!
Please be sure to list as "going" by Wednesday before because that's what we will use to get reservations/tables set up for your group. If you list as "interested" we cannot guarantee you a space.

Portland Pride Waterfront Festival

Tom McCall Waterfront Park
The annual Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade have been a tradition in our city since 1994. This event is the single largest visibility opportunity for our region's LGBTQ+ community organizations and businesses with more than 170 vendors.
An $8 donation is accepted at the gate entrance, but no one has turned away for lack of funds. Proof of vaccination is required and masks are encouraged.

Portland Pride Parade

Tom McCall Waterfront Park
For the most dazzling display of Pride in our city, you won't want to miss the Portland Pride Parade. You'll see people from just about every walk of life come together to proudly show their colors at this supportive, inclusive celebration.
The parade steps off at NW Couch St. and NW Broadway traveling east down NW Couch St. Once the parade reaches Naito Pkwy, it turns south and proceeds down to the Portland Pride Waterfront Festival.

Portland Pride Paddle
June 25, Saturday | 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Willamette Park Boat Ramp, 6500 S Macadam Ave., Portland, OR 97239
Dress in your Pride best and bring your stand-up paddle board or kayak for a day of rainbows and sunshine on the water.
The pride paddle launches promptly from the Willamette Park boat ramp at 11 AM. The paddle route goes first to Toe Island to gather and have some snacks and a beverage. Then the group heads to Ross Island for another stop and makes their way around Ross Island back to Willamette Park.
Participate in the water or get a great view along the shore of everyone adorned in Pride.
