This year's 32nd annual Feast at the Market is going to be a delicious way to raise money for a good cause! Taking place on Tuesday, October 6th, this progressive dinner through the Pike Place Neighborhood will offer delectable bites from rock star restaurants such as Matt's in the Market, Il Bistro, Place Pigalle, Radiator Whiskey & Cafe Campagne to name a few. You'll begin the evening with a wine and cheese reception at the clinic at 5:30 and then from 6 to 9, you'll dine at the more than 20 participating Market restaurants and sample their offerings. I personally cannot wait to eat my way through this evening! Event coordinators estimate the average diner will be able to visit about ten different restaurants in the time allotted. I am am going to make it my personal mission to try all 20 (stay tuned for that!).
Proceeds from Feast at the Market go to support Neighborcare Health Clinic at Pike Place Market. The clinic has long been the leading provider of comprehensive primary health care to low-income and uninsured people in downtown Seattle, providing more than 28,000 medical and mental health care visits annually to over 5,000 patients, 45% of whom are uninsured and 40% of whom are or were recently homeless.
