To-Die-For BBQ Burgers in Seattle

My love of barbecue meets my love of barbecuing with good old BBQ burgers, and several Seattle spots do simply amazing barbecue-style burgers with all of the fixin’s. Check them out…

Belltown Pub | 2322 1st Avenue | 206-448-6210

This is the spot to enjoy your favorite pub food and drinks, whether it’s game day or any day. Their burgers are served with pub fries, mashed potatoes or macaroni salad. The Old Northwest is a serious BBQ burger, with Swiss cheese, zesty barbecue sauce, avocado and frizzled onions. Yum!

Highliner Pub | 3909 18th Avenue W | 206-216-1254

You could build your own burger at the Highliner Public House, but I sincerely recommend trying their BBQ burger first! It all starts with the restaurant’s classic Pub House Burger (⅓ pound of fresh Angus beef with all of the traditional fixings, and the BBQ Burger adds cheddar cheese, Highliner’s signature BBQ sauce and an onion ring.

The Lodge Sports Grille | Multiple Locations

This BBQ burger has the makings of a seriously delicious mess. As they say, you might need a fork! The Lodge Sports Grille’s Southern Cal BBQ burger is made from a hand-formed all-beef burger that’s flame-broiled, smothered in BBQ sauce and topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce and a giant onion ring.

Teddy's Bigger Burgers | 17705 140th Avenue NE, Woodinville | 425-408-1604

It may come as a surprise, but burger recipes with origin in Hawaii have some serious promise. The Kilauea Fire burger at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers is absolutely amazing! Teddy’s original 100% ground chuck flame-broiled burger makes the base for a slathering of Kilauea Fire BBQ suace, bacon, onion rings and cheddar.

Uneeda Burger | 4302 Fremont Avenue N | 206-547-2600

When comparing BBQ burgers, I’d be remiss to skip Uneeda Burger’s incredible BBQ Smash! It’s a ⅓ pound patty from all-natural Painted Hills beef, topped with charred onions, bacon, cheddar, and a slathering of BBQ sauce.
