Are You Ready to Sizzle & Buzz?

The Where to Eat Guide & Associates is pleased to announce the publication of the first episode of Sizzle & Buzz, a new cooking demo video series hosted by Jillian Rabe and directed by Jared Hail.  The first episode highlights Davis Street Tavern in Portland’s Old Town Historic District.  Capturing stories, recipes, tips and tricks from acclaimed kitchens and personalities in our favorite restaurants in the Pacific Northwest, the Sizzle & Buzz video series features dynamic visuals, exclusive interviews and behind the scenes perspectives. Sizzle & Buzz gives the full flavor of the Pacific Northwest’s top dining destinations and invites viewers to recreate their favorite dishes at home.  The Sizzle & Buzz video series was created by Jason Staats and Collin Krum.

In 2013, Where to Eat Guide & Associates published its debut cookbook, Sizzle & Buzz: What’s Cookin’ in the Region’s Hottest Restaurants. The book was designed to raise money to feed the hungry. To date, Sizzle & Buzz has provided northwest charities with the means to raise $15,000.00 to help feed those in need.  The book features full-color photography and exclusive stories from 50+ restaurants including Little Bird Bistro, Smallwares, Poppy, Spork and many more.

About Jillian Rabe: Jillian Rabe is a host and special event producer. With international experience, her project history includes: Red Bull, Nike, vitaminwater, FADER, Widmer Brothers Brewing, WILL Leather Goods and many more.  Jillian is a Portland native and also hosts weekly episodes of DT Daily for Digital Trends.
