Jan Hemelstrand is a retired educator who is passionate about the correct use of written English and enjoys contributing her skills to the Where To Eat Guide. She was born in Salem, Oregon, and although she has traveled to most states, Canada, and Europe, she is always pleased to return to Oregon, which she deems to be Paradise. Jan is also the booking agent/personal manager for the Honky-Tonk Rebel, an extraordinary musical genius who tours in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and soon, Texas.
