900 Wall’s contemporary-rustic ambiance, coupled with its upbeat, laid back atmosphere makes this downtown restaurant a staple among locals and visitors alike. The menu changes seasonally and Chef Cliff Eslinger’s appreciation for the use of local purveyors and sustainable products are only a side note to the wonderful flavors and presentation.

Who doesn’t love a good deal, especially when it comes to high-quality dining? I had the pleasure of experiencing happy hour, on a sunny Saturday, at one of the nicest restaurants in Central Oregon. Needless to say, I expected the place to be packed. I was pleasantly surprised. The bar was fairly crowded but the general seating was wide open. My Mom and I took our seats and ordered our drinks. I had the Joseph Drouhin (French) Chardonnay which went perfectly with the refreshing oysters I indulged in. My Mom had a Don Julio margarita and the Draper Valley chicken sandwich. The kitchen staff stood behind the counter as she took her first bite, she made that face of utter delight complete with a sigh and an eye roll. It was the perfect place for a girls afternoon and the fact that it didn’t break my bank made it that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be going again.
