From the organizers:

Now in its sixth year, the local tasting event formerly known as Taste 208 has made a major change: rebranding as Taste & Craft.

“Over the past few years, we have seen a surge in the popularity of craft beverages,” said event creator Courtney Feider. “To answer the increasing demand, we are excited to partner with companies that are developing stellar small-batch creations on the local, regional and even international levels—bringing a robust variety to Taste & Craft this year.  We are still focused on a large foundation of local businesses and we look forward to introducing the audience to some new things they probably haven’t tasted.”

This year’s line-up is one of the best in the history of the event. Event organizers are working to magnify the focus on exclusive tasting opportunities and are adding more non-alcoholic products to the event with coffee, kombucha, and craft soda. Central food is again part of the ticket price and will be provided by Kanak Attack Catering. A Greenbelt adjacent location provides bike-up access with free valet bike parking with the Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance.

Bringing the Grand Tasting and the VIP Event back to the same location, the Taste & Craft team has set up a separate private tent for up to 300 guests with a focus on restaurant/beverage pairings, lounge area for VIP guests to sit down, and full access to the Grand Tasting. This year’s event is slated for the evening of April 8, at Payette Brewing's facility on Pioneer Street.

Taste & Craft sells out each year, and the 2017 event is expected to do the same. Special discounts on tickets will be available at “Tasters” events, small pop-ups happening throughout the Treasure Valley.  For more details visit the Taste & Craft website or Facebook page. Ticket price for both VIP and Grand Tasting include tasting glass, food, and unlimited tasting for the entire event.
