From tacos al pastor, to savory carne asada or carnitas, every bite of marinated meat plus pico de gallo and cilantro hits the spot! From the Amono’s Mexican Kitchen taco truck, you can dig into tacos with a long list of meat options. Choose from al pastor (guajillo marinated pork with pineapple), carnitas (citrus marinated pulled pork), pollo (chicken marinated in ancho chile), carne asada, cabeza (braised beef cheek), lengua (braised beef tongue), chorizo, or chupa cabras (chorizo and carne asada). All soft tacos are served on corn tortillas with cilantro, onions and salsa.

 

Cactus | Multiple Locations

Enjoy Southwestern and Mexican cuisine at the various Cactus locations scattered around Seattle and the east side of Lake Washington. Their tacos are made with white corn tortillas and served with Spanish rice and black beans seasoned with cumin. Cactus offers six different taco dishes, from classics like Tacos Pollo (chicken tacos) to specialties like Tacos Camarones (crispy prawns in a spicy diablo sauce, ginger and mango slaw, cilantro, and buttermilk crema).

Fish tacos are a specialty shareable plate at Flying Fish in South Lake Union. Three different kinds of fresh fish are mixed with pickled onions, guacamole, and charred tomato salsa on fresh corn tortillas. The tacos are also gluten-free, for an added benefit!

In addition to tasty chicken, beef and al pastor tacos, Poquitos crafts some tasty Baja Fish tacos! These babies are stuffed with grilled or beer-battered fish, pickled cabbage, pico de gallo, and charred scallion aioli. For vegetarian taco-lovers, Poquitos makes yam tacos, with roasted yams, goat cheese, green onions and guajillo salsa.

Authentic Mexican cuisine is the focus at Señor Moose, a longtime favorite spot in Ballard to enjoy the traditional dishes from south of the border. The restaurant has four different types of tacos, from sweet potato to carnitas and shredded beef or carne asada. Most are topped with salsa, onion, cilantro and avocado in addition to your choice of meat.
