Bowery Bagels, Portland’s best New York-style kosher bagel shop, is launching a #ChefSchmear series today! Owner Michael Madigan has teamed up with Portland’s best chefs to create a new and exciting schmear flavor each month.
The #ChefSchmear series kicks off June 1st with Greg Denton and Gabrielle Quiñónez Denton of Ox and Superbite who have designed a Roasted Strawberry, Miso, and Maple schmear!

Each chef schmear flavor will only be available for one month and can be picked up at the Bowery Bagels shop, located at 310 NW Broadway in Portland, Oregon open from 7am-2pm daily. Bowery Bagels is also available for delivery through Caviar, Postmates, Grubhub, and Portland Pedal Power. Bowery Bagels’ delicious bagels, sandwiches, and schmears make them Portland’s go-to bagel shop.
