Cucina Americana | 9400 Roosevelt Way NE | 206-957-1333

The risotto at Cucina Americana is absolutely perfect for this season. The rich dish is made with roasted butternut squash, mascarpone (soft and creamy Italian cheese), rosemary and if you like, you can add Dungeness crab for even more goodness.

Nell's Restaurant | 6804 E Green Lake Way N | 206-524-4044

The menu at Nell’s changes almost nightly, but risotto often makes an appearance. For example, English Pea Risotto has been a favored treat, with basil and parmesan reggiano. Nell’s also makes a fantastic mushroom risotto that’s a must-try!

The Pink Door | 1919 Post Alley | 206-443-3241

Risotto is authentically Italian, and The Pink Door’s Italian-American focus lends itself to some truly delicious risotto. This is particularly true, because The Pink Door risotto is made with coveted preserved truffles, in addition to raw egg yolk and parmigiano-reggiano cheese. They also often do risotto specials this time of year, with seafood, Dungeness crab (pictured above) and other tasty combinations.
