Seattle’s working waterfront gets especially delicious this September.
On Thursday, September 17, 2026, the second annual Taste of the Sound returns to Fishermen’s Terminal, bringing together more than 75 Washington food producers, beverage makers, fishers, farmers, and independent makers for an evening centered on local food and drink.
Presented by Good Business Network of Washington, the event gives guests a chance to sample products, meet the people behind them, and purchase directly from participating producers.

What to Expect
Taste of the Sound brings together a broad cross-section of Washington’s food economy, from seafood and specialty foods to cider, wine, spirits, nonalcoholic beverages, and locally made pantry goods.
A mini dockside market will let guests buy directly from local fishers, while the Native Grown & Gathered Market, presented in partnership with Feed Seven Generations, will spotlight Indigenous food businesses and traditional ingredients.
Featured participants include Bellflower Chocolate Company, Republic of Cider, Ojaswe Co., NoWhere Foods, Jamestown Seafood, Blue Dot Kitchen, and Lummi Island SeaGreens & Bounty of the Salish Sea.
New this year, a partnership with Tilth Alliance supports PNW Organic Week, adding producers focused on organic agriculture and regional sourcing.

The event also takes place during Seattle Made Week and Eat Local Month, making it a fitting celebration of the people who grow, catch, produce, and make food across the region.
