It’s that time of year when love is in the air. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and lucky for us that also means special menus and spectacular sweets at many of our favorite restaurants. Here’s a list of some of the extra yummy things happening around Boise for the romantic occasion.

Bodovino

Bodovino will offer a special date package that includes two glasses of champagne, a dozen roses and diner’s choice of a custom made cheese or chocolate flight for $50. This is sure to make your hunny swoon!

Angell’s Bar & Grill Renato

Angell’s will be kicking off its new brunch service on Valentine’s Day from 10 am to 2 pm. They will also be offering a special four course Valentine’s Day Dinner on Friday, February 12th, Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th from 5 pm to 9 pm.

First Course:

Chocolate Covered Strawberries with a Glass of Champagne

Second Course:

Choice of Maine Lobster Bique,Tableside Flaming Greek Cheese Saganaki or Tableside Caesar Salad for Two

Third Course Entrée Choices:

Lobster Thermidor

A French dish consisting of a delicate cream sauce baked with cooked whole Maine lobster meat, egg yolks and brandy, gently placed back into its lobster shell. Served with a baked Idaho potato and fresh vegetables.

Chateaubriand for Two

Chateaubriand, the classic steak for two made from a center-cut filet, requires little dressing up. Like most high-quality cuts, it's best cooked rare to medium. This is a classic! Each person will be presented with roasted root vegetable and pan seared asparagus.

Surf and Turf

Piedmontese, an organic grass fed Italian Steer 8 oz filet, grilled to perfection then topped with Crab! Presented with a potato cake, crisped onions and seasonal vegetables. Comes with our selection of three in house steak sauces of Mushroom Marsala, Brandy Peppercorn and Fig Gastrique.

Full Rack of New Zealand Lamb

New Zealand full rack of lamb brushed with Dijon mustard, parsley, fresh mint and rosemary, then cooked to order. Served with whipped potatoes and local seasonal vegetables.

Alaskan Halibut Cheeks

The "Filet Mignon" of the Halibut. Potato Cake and Asian Slaw with a crisped spring roll wrap.

Fourth Course:

Presented Tableside “Flambé Desserts”

Cherries Jubilee, Crème Brulée or Banana’s Foster

Grimaldi's Pizzeria

During the month of February, Grimaldi’s will be featuring their delectable Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake. Think vanilla cheesecake with chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups topped with whipped cream. (Hungry yet?) It’s the perfect dessert to complement any Valentine’s Day dinner!
