Where to Eat in San Francisco this October!

San Francisco is an unparalleled culinary destination. So there's no better time to experience all the incredible flavors the city has to offer than during 2021's Eat Drink SF and SF Restaurant Week, happening this October 15 to 24, 2021.

Curated by the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, these simultaneous events offer visitors the chance to explore San Francisco through indoor and outdoor dining. Featuring prix fixe menus, chef collaborations, cocktail events, and ticketed experiences, all in adherence with the current San Francisco Department of Public Health guidelines.

Visitors must provide their COVID-19 vaccination proofs for all indoor events.

Eat Drink SF

Eat Drink SF focused on San Francisco tastemakers. In years past, the festival has featured more than 60 local restaurants. Some of the many events in this year's festival include:

Opening Night Dinner: An All-Star Collaboration from Perbacco, Nopa & Acquerello

October 15, 6–9 P.M.–pm at Perbacco.

Perbacco Chef/Owner Staffan Terje will work alongside Chef Suzette Gresham (Acquerello) and Chef Laurence Jossel (Nopa) on a collaborative, four-course dinner with wine pairings.

Winner Winner Fried Chicken Dinner - A Menu of Wayfare Tavern Favorites

October 22, with two seatings (5:30–7 P.M.–pm and 8–9 P.M.–pm) at Wayfare Tavern.

Dig into the flavors of San Francisco with a night of classic dishes in Wayfare Tavern's heated outdoor parklet. Enjoy their signature fried chicken, handcrafted cocktails, and more as we raise a glass to the city by the bay.

Escape to Greece - Closing Lunch at Michael Mina's Newest Restaurant

October 24, 12-2 P.M. at Estiatorio Ornos.

Escape to Greece at Chef Michael Mina's newest concept at his iconic 252 California Street flagship location, Estiatorio Ornos, a Michael Mina Restaurant. Enjoy a three-course lunch and welcome cocktail as Chef Mina, alongside partners Chefs Girair "Jerry" Goumroian and Nikolaos Georgousis, take guests on a delectable tour of the Greek islands fresh fish, beloved Mediterranean specialties, and genuine Greek hospitality.

Reservations are available through OpenTable.

Cost: $75 per person plus taxes, surcharges, and gratuity.

SF Restaurant Week

SF Restaurant Week is a city-wide tradition. During SF Restaurant Week, establishments can offer prix fixe menus at lunch and dinner at several price points:

  • Lunch (2+ Courses): $10, $15, $25
  • Dinner (3+ Courses): $25, $40, $60

The last Restaurant Week included over 150 participating venues, including some Michelin Star winners.

This 2021, restaurants and bars Wilder, Westwood, Quik Dog by Trick Dog, Luna, and La Mejor Bakery are first-time joiners in the San Francisco Restaurant Week.

The returning favorites include E&O Kitchen and Bar, La Cocina Municipal Marketplace, Mr. Tipple's, Fiorella, and Violet's.

Menu highlights include a three-course dinner show experience at Asia SF for $40, a four-course dinner at Matterhorn for $40 with sweet and savory fondue taking center stage, and a lunch menu of agua fresca and the consumer's choice of a super burrito at El Taco Loco for $15.
